Our Next Concert:

About Dorking Camerata:

Based in Dorking, Surrey, we are a chamber choir of some 20 voices formed in 1997 by Neil Cathmoir.

For the last 5 years, we have been lucky to have Christopher Dawe as our conductor. We wish him well as he now moves on to concentrate on his teaching career.

During 2008 and 2009, we have been fortunate to welcome Justin Doyle, Philip White, Andrew Phillips, Joseph Fort and Andrew Arthur as Guest Conductors.

We generally perform 3 concerts a year with 4 or 5 rehearsals beforehand, including an all-day Saturday rehearsal.

As the choir has developed its repertoire and performs a range of music to enchant a growing audience, the Camerata never loses sight of its founding principle; the sheer delight and pleasure of singing.

Dorking Camerata is a Registered Charity No 1099024.
